Monday March11 : Field trip to see poet Anne Carson in Cambridge. We've purchased 10 tickets to her reading, you can win one by submitting a Haiku to us in person at the store. Carpool from the store, or meet at Bartley's for dinner. Reading starts at 7 p.m. Leaving Manchester By the Book at 4 p.m.

Saturday March 16 : Dessert Night 7 to 9 p.m.. Bring a homemade dessert to the store and receive a $10 gift certificate. Eat and judge all the desserts. Winning desserts win more gift certificates and pride of championism.

Saturday March 23 : Jade Night 7 to 9 p.m.. The one and only Jade Weston will be on hand to party with her fans, recommend books, talk about her fabulous job with the premier eastern philosophy publisher Shambhala, make communal art, dancing?

Saturday April 6 : Art night 7 to 9 p.m. All art to be sold for under $15. 100 percent of proceeds to the artists. Submit you work to us at the store to register. Wine and cheese and art buying.
